This hand-painted piece is a little homage to a huge Twin Cities icon, and my favorite local brew. I’ve done a few of these using different colors and application techniques so no two are exactly alike. This one features a few whips clouds in the sky.


Details

  • Measures approx 1in wide by 1.5in tall
  • Comes on an 18” sterling silver cable chain that is approx 1.3mm thick.
  • While these pieces are durable, it is not recommended to wear them in extreme temperatures or expose them to harsh chemicals like a jacuzzi or pool.
  • Wipe pendant clean with a damp cloth. Silver chain can be polished with any common jewelry polish product by following the manufacturers instructions.


How It’s Made


A piece of copper is cut and cleaned before layers of vitreous enamel, a type of powdered glass, are sifted onto the front and back. Each layer is permanently fused to the metal using a hand-held torch, resulting in a smooth glass-coated piece. The back of the piece endures multiple firings which gives it a distinct distressed/burnt look while the front is meticulously detailed with a tiny brush.
