​This exciting and experimental casting technique will allow students to create beautiful abstract forms that can range from button or pearl-like shapes to dynamic splashes of silver.

Take your jewelry making to the next level and learn the basics of silver soldering using a small, hand-held butane torch. Safety and tools will be discussed, and students will practice the basics by completing a silver ring with bezel set stone of their choice!

This hands-on class will cover basic jewelry design and construction as participants explore several different torch enameling techniques to achieve
​a variety of colorful finishes.

Delft clay casting

This is a great introduction to casting with sterling silver and using the acetylene torch, perfect for beginners or intermediate metalsmiths that want to explore direct casting methods that can be done at home with basic tools. 

Acrylic Pour Painting

Experiment with layering colors and mixing acrylic paint with medium and rubbing alcohol to create wild and dynamic abstract acrylic paintings! Each participant will have the change to create two of their very own paintings!

​Sea Glass Ring

In this intermediate soldering class, students will choose a piece of sea glass and learn to create a custom bezel ring from scratch using silver sheet and wire and traditional jewelry tools.

​Photo Decal Painting

Turn your favorite photos into hand painted art pieces (without having to master drawing and color theory first!) Using photo decals on wood panels, we will learn to mix glazes and tint our images, creating one of a kind keepsakes.

Combine photography with torch-fired enamels to create keepsake jewelry featuring virtually any image! We will explore opaque and transparent sifted enamel as well as different liquid enamels.

keum bo: fusing 24k gold to silver

Learn the modern/updated version of an ancient Korean technique of fusing gold to silver! Working with 24k gold, fine silver and liver of sulphur, this technique adds beautiful contrast to your
​handmade jewelry and metalwork.
